Health and Safety

2025 Health & Safety Policy

At CPC Civils, we are committed to ensuring the health, safety and well-being of our employees, contractors, clients, and anyone affected by our operations.

We recognise the inherent risks associated with construction and infrastructure projects, and we continually strive to create a safe working environment where hazards are proactively identified, controlled and minimised.

Our aim is to maintain a culture of saftey through effective risk management, compliance with all relevant legislation, and continuous training and improvement.

We are committed to fostering a workplace where safety is everyone’s responsibility, and where all personnel are empowered to contribute to the overall safety and success of each and every project.

We have developed a management system and construction techniques that care for the environment. And this whilst always delivering a high quality product to the client’s satisfaction.

The management and workforce are highly trained and able to deal with all scenarios that you could expect to have to cope with.

This includes whilst working on

  • tidal works,
  • harbour walls,
  • rivers and canals,
  • reservoir repairs and refurbishments,
  • erosion control schemes,
  • piling works,
  • landscaping and surfacing works

and pretty much anything else connected to this industry.

We are well established tier 1 subcontractors to many of the main contractors. This includes Jackson Civil Engineering, Galiford Try, Kier and May Gurney. We often work as turnkey subcontractor for these clients on EA WEM (formerly NCF2) frameworks. And also on the CRT (formerly British Waterways) frameworks.

As well as investing in the workforce, we have also purchased or commissioned the build of specialist plant.  Especially for working on the water or for gaining access to remote sites.

See our Plant section for details.
