CPC Civils inspires students at Axholme Academy Career Day

This month CPC Civils took part in Axholme Academy’s Careers Drop Down.

Our colleagues Richard Grundy, Jacob Schofield, and Murren Gallacher were on hand to inspire students to learn more about careers in civil engineering and construction.

They spoke about CPC’s work on Severn Trent‘s Crowle Flood Alleviation Scheme, giving students a real-world example of how engineering projects benefit their community.

The second half of the session involved a tower building competition where students worked in teams, stepped into engineering roles, and used their creative problem solving skills to build the tallest, most stable tower capable of holding a marshmallow.

It was great to see so much enthusiasm, teamwork and potential from these young minds!
