Supporting payroll team to process weekly and monthly payrolls in an accurate and timely manner while always maintaining confidentiality.
Create and maintain employee payroll records, new starters, leavers, employment changes, pension changes, bank detail changes etc
Processing statutory payments and other deductions.
Provide support with payroll queries from employees and managers.
Ad hoc general administrative duties as required.
Experience and skills
Experience working within a payroll department.
Working knowledge of Sage 50 payroll, excel and Microsoft office.
In depth knowledge of income tax, NI, UK payroll legislation and HMRC.
Experience setting up and processing workplace pension schemes.
Good ability to work to a deadline with accurate data entry skills
